Day 7. Toe nails are for wimps

It’s been two weeks since I ran my half marathon.
And finally today, one of my toe nails, which had been hurting a lot, fell off.
I know it’s quite gross, a toe without a toe nail!
Now,
‘how can I survive this summer?’
‘how can I wear open shoes?’
‘how about pedicures?’
Then,
J taught me this expression for runners,
“Toe nails are for wimps”
‘wimps’ means ‘weak people’
For runners, it’s like a badge to have toes without nails!
