Unlike in Korea, where people use the word ‘ice cream’ for all of the flavored frozen flavored deserts,
in the U.S. the words ‘ice cream,’ ‘sorbet,’ and ‘gelato’ refer different things.
By definition, sorbet is a frozen dessert made from sweetened water flavored with fruit.
