But today, when I just flushed, he tried something new, for the new year, something brave for him. He tried to put his paw into the water still wavering. My quick reaction was ‘oh no!’ and closed the toilette cover. Poor Toothless. He got really upset and still is pouting. What should I do? Should I allow him to touch water in the toilette?

I have a one-year-old cat named Toothless. He loves to see the water swirling down the toilet after I flush it. When I go to the bathroom, he always waits for me to finish so he can watch the water after I flush. I let him do this because I know he’s safe, and it’s his little joy of the day.
You know that cats sleep 80% of their time.
But today, when I flushed, Toothless tried something new for the new year, something brave for him. He tried to put his paw into the water while it was going down. My initial reaction was “Oh, no!” and quickly put down the toilet lid. Poor Toothless. He got really upset and is still pouting. What should I do? Should I allow him to touch the water in the toilet?
