My role at the Toastmasters today was a second Evaluator. I’ve taken the Evaluator’s role about ten times so far.
I remember vividly the first time when I gave the evaluator speech. I was so worried and nervous that I missed all the other part of the meeting. Two minutes seemed long time and as soon as the Timer’s green on, I rushed to my seat.
Today was different. Throughout the meeting, I could evenly pay attention to all the other parts and still could prepare what to say.
My courage, effort and determination to fight for the fear in public speaking have been paying off. I cannot believe how much I’ve grown with Toastmasters just in one year!
