In preparation for running LA Marathon in 23 days, I ran longer than my usual distance. Ten miles today. Besides three half marathon runs, it was the longest distance I’ve run. The record was not too good. It took 1 hour and 45 minutes, which is a little slower than 10 minutes per mile.
Experts suggest that one should try eighteen miles at least once before the marathon if it’s your first full marathon. Oh well, I’ll try it in a week since it’s only less then four weeks left until the race.
